About Veloturk

Veloturk consists of five people brought together by their passion for cycling: Sarper Günsal, Arda Türkmen, Okan Can Yantır, Berkem Ceylan and Aydın Diricanlı.

Alongside their professional business lives, they take part in challenging races across Europe throughout the year to raise social awareness. With the support of sponsor brands, they aim to bring bicycles as report-card gifts to children in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia.

About Argeus Travel & Events

Argeus Travel & Events was founded in Cappadocia in 1993 by Aydın Ayhan Güney, Muammer Sak and Veli Tören. With its experienced and creative team, Argeus has been a pioneering organization for more than 25 years, breaking new ground in the fields of tourism and sports events.

In addition to operating as an incoming tourism operator, the same partners brought tourism and sports events together by importing 63 mountain bikes to Türkiye in 1989, four years before the establishment of Argeus.

Türkiye’s first Gran Fondo race was held in 2015 as part of the Cappadocia Cycling Festival, featuring two different courses.

Organized since 2014, Cappadocia Ultra Trail is Türkiye’s largest trail running event in terms of participation.
